Refurbished Phones & iPhones Castle Hill, Rouse Hill & The Hills District: Frequently Asked Questions

Answers from our St Marys workshop technicians with 18+ years of Sydney engineering experience.

How are certified refurbished phones tested at Phone Repair Centre?
Every handset undergoes our rigorous 30-point technician bench test at our St Marys Flagship Workshop (122 Queen St, St Marys NSW 2760). Technicians with 18+ years of Sydney engineering experience verify display multitouch, battery health percentage, camera sensors, Face ID or Touch ID, cellular antenna reception, and thermal performance.
What warranty and return policy covers this collection?
All certified refurbished phones include a 6-Month comprehensive store warranty backed directly by our Sydney laboratory, alongside a 14-day return window. If any issue arises, our local workshop handles repairs or replacements promptly with zero overseas runaround.
What battery health percentage is guaranteed?
We verify and record the exact battery health percentage for every handset. Devices feature verified battery health, typically 85% to 100% capacity. If a battery cell was replaced during lab testing, we use brand new tested quality cells and disclose this with 100% radical transparency.
Are these handsets network unlocked and IMEI cleared?
Yes. 100% of devices are factory unlocked for all Australian carriers (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone) and international networks. Every unit is checked clean against the AMTA (Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association) national database.
Can I inspect the phone in person in Sydney before buying?
Yes. Customers are welcome to visit our St Marys Flagship Workshop and Advanced Lab at 122 Queen St, St Marys NSW 2760 to inspect devices on the bench. For inquiries, call our lab team directly on (02) 8678 3298.
